As much as I don’t like to admit it sometimes, getting up and moving helps with my mood swings and depression and anxiety.
This morning I was a mess. First day of the second lockdown for the island, I was depressed and crying and stressed all the way out. So I got up, tried a pep talk, turned on my EDM playlist on Apple Music, and started cleaning up my very neglected garden.
Being outside in the sunshine and fresh air really helped. My garden looks better, well the half I finished, my mood has improved and I made some decisions.
It’s time to get back on the horse and try again. I did not come this far to come this far. Things will get better. Sometimes you just need to pause, re-evaluate, then get moving.
