I like Me

LIKE Yourself: https://youtu.be/JtzYenlz-dE

Don’t Measure Your Worth by Social Media.

A simple yet effective sentence. A simple truth.

For long while I honestly believed that how much attention I gain on social media from my friends and random strangers, determined how likable I was as a person. And it was depressing. My friends barely noticed or acknowledged my posts. And I thought no one liked me or though I was worthy of attention.

But the fact is, I don’t need online validation. How I view myself is more important. I wake up alone every day in my body with my thoughts, and I should strive to like me and be happy with who I am and who I am becoming. If I can’t be happy alone, then I cannot expect anyone else to make me happy.

I must like myself first. Not easy but doable.
